Tennyson riverfront home sold in the mid $4 million range - Place

Sold by Sarah Hackett of Place Bulimba, who told WILLIAMS MEDIA the lifestyle property attracted strong interest from buyers looking to upgrade.

The two-level home received four written offers, selling in the mid $4 million range.

“During the campaign, we met 56 groups through our scheduled mid-week and Saturday open homes. Our targeted digital marketing received 20,000 hits online and generated over 150 email enquiries,” Sarah Hackett told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

“We had 8 private viewings which had four parties competing to secure the property, the successful buyers from Brookfield sold their home to purchase this stunning home.”

Interest was particularly strong from local buyers looking to upgrade to the riverfront.

“Our two strongest contenders were both from acreage, looking for a change from large allotments to a riverfront lifestyle closer to the city now their children were getting older and needing to be more central to schooling commitments,” Sarah explained.

“The sellers of this home enjoyed 16 years living there raising their children and celebrating many family milestones during this time. The resounding feedback we received from buyers during the campaign was how in awe they were with the oversized entertaining spaces, the huge void and glass walls that invited light and river breezes into the home, and the north-facing aspect that enjoyed views of both reaches of the river gazing toward the golf course.”
