Speaking to LUXURY LIST WEEKEND, Bethwyn Richards said buyers were drawn to the immaculate family home. 

“It’s an exquisite renovation with grand proportions and parkside location, and the master was extraordinary,” she explained.

There were 10 private and OFI inspections during the 4 and a half weeks that the home was on the market, with 5 contracts issued. The tri- level home sold for $7,010,000.

“Randwick is becoming a highly desired area. The area provides a strong blend of period homes with contemporary renovations, street side appeal, and gardens with privacy - complete criteria for families looking for their next long-term home,” Bethwyn told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.

The Coogee residence went under the hammer following a 5-week marketing campaign, Bethwyn told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.

We had buyers coming through who had been looking to buy in the immediate area since I last sold on the street 7 years ago. Oceanfront and park views, no houses in front of you, the design and construction of the house was second to none.”

On the day, 3 parties were participating, with the auction opening at $10.25m. Amid extremely competitive bidding, the home was sold under the hammer for $13.1m..

Buyers were all families, mainly with older children, including some from the Eastern Suburbs and some from over the Harbour Bridge.
