The area provides a strong blend of period homes with contemporary renovations, street side appeal, and gardens with privacy - complete criteria for families looking for their next long-term home,” Bethwyn told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.
“Buyers included professional families from both the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs who are finding the location very appealing due to the hospitals, access to the city, beaches and airports.”

16 Wolseley Road is a tri-level home with ocean views from each level, just steps away from Wylie's and McIver baths and an easy walk to Coogee Beach.
The coastal home is positioned opposite Trenerry Reserve, with never to be built out views across the beach to Wedding Cake Island.

“16 Wolseley Road is one of the most magnificent beach houses I have ever seen, offering all that a family could wish for."
"Cleverly designed and beautifully built, the four levels provide superb functionality. Brilliantly located with the park and ocean frontage, all levels have stunning views, dappled with sunlight throughout all times of the day, which filter through the multiple living zones and bedrooms,” Bethwyn explained.

We had buyers coming through who had been looking to buy in the immediate area since I last sold on the street 7 years ago. Oceanfront and park views, no houses in front of you, the design and construction of the house was second to none.”
On the day, 3 parties were participating, with the auction opening at $10.25m. Amid extremely competitive bidding, the home was sold under the hammer for $13.1m..
Buyers were all families, mainly with older children, including some from the Eastern Suburbs and some from over the Harbour Bridge.
