"Specializing in only beachfront sales gives us a distinct advantage and unparalleled market knowledge.”
WILLIAMS MEDIA spoke to Gold Coast agent Wayne Bisgrove about his recent sales amid strong market performance in the area.
“The high end market on the Southern Gold Coast has never been stronger. We have sold 4 luxury skyhome apartments in the last few months, with the demand from both local and interstate buyers higher than ever,” Wayne told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
High interest means that Wayne has been able to sell properties off market. One such property is 1601/88 Marine Parade Coolangatta, which sold prior to launch through the RS database for $1,100,000.
The property is the largest two-bedroom unit in the Mantra Coolangatta Beach resort. Positioned on the 16th floor, the apartment was sold fully furnished and is currently being holiday let through the Mantra Group.
“For over a decade I have personally added to my beachfront clientele, creating an unrivalled database that allows me to properly match buyers and sellers and secure record results across the Southern Gold Coast.”
“Close to 50% of my recent beachfront sales have come directly from my database with many sales, like 1601 Mantra, selling prior to launching to the active market. Specializing in only beachfront sales gives us a distinct advantage and unparalleled market knowledge.”

“We had several beachfront apartments go to market over the last few weeks via expressions of interest with a closing date. This has shown to be one of many successful marketing strategies we have engaged due to the increase in buyer competition and rise in market pricing,” he explained.
1301/1-3 Douglas Street Coolangatta is one of these properties. A beachfront apartment with stunning views over Kirra, Unit 1301 secured multiple offers during the campaign and sold for $1,100,000, a premium result for the Nirvana complex.

“Points North has always been a highly sought after address on the Coolangatta beachfront and with limited opportunities coming to market in the last few years, Unit 60 Points North went fast. We were able to secure a record result prior to launch by utilising our extensive beachfront buyers database. We have several buyers waiting for specific apartments to hit the market so if you are looking to sell we may have the buyer for you.”
Just up the street Wayne sold another skyhome, 1601/60 Marine Parade, Coolangatta for $2,520,000.
This luxury oceanfront apartment occupies the entire 16th floor of the tightly-held Sanbano Coolangatta, a 28-unit complex with resort facilities.
“The demand for property both on beachfront and in close proximity to the beach has never been higher,” Wayne told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
1/1 South Street Coolangatta is a near new two-bedroom apartment in the Koi apartments, a boutique development only 150m from the beach. Unit 1 sold for $680,790.
“After just four days we were able to sell both unit 1 & 3 in this newly completed boutique development in Kirra.”

“The Southern Gold Coast market is receiving more media coverage than ever which is creating some exceptional results all the way down the coast. The demand for property both on beachfront and in close proximity to the beach has never been higher. There has never been a better time to be in the market.”
