At Avantra, the elements of a suburban street will be reassembled vertically.
Avantra, in Sydney's Mascot, has been modified after extensive consultation between Longton Property and Botany Council. Architect Brent Marvin, of MD+A, describes the new design as 'Streets in the Sky'. Avantra's lift cores will be open to the sky, and residents will access their apartments by skyway corridors. Every level will have 'pocket parks', where residents can gather, and enjoy sunlit spaces. Avantra will also have rooftop gardens, barbecue areas, a gymnasium, and a spectacular rooftop 25-metre infinity pool. Avantra offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Some apartments will include a multipurpose room, which can be used as a study, home office, or guest room. Every habitable room in Avantra will have natural ventilation and natural light. Premium finishes will include caesarstone bench tops, mirrored splash backs, integrated Delonghi kitchen appliances, and bathroom luxuries such as double rainwater-style showers, bathtubs and suspended basins. The apartments will come with MyiButler, an app that allows residents to order goods and services online. Avantra will also use iCommunity to create a virtual neighbourhood, enabling residents to exchange messages about local news and events, and providing daily updates such as weather, news, and cinema session times. These messages will appear on residents' private screens, but also on electric noticeboards in each lobby. Avantra is a three-minute walk from Mascot train station and Mascot Central shopping centre.
