U2 on Waymouth is an innovative Adelaide apartment development. It contains the largest rooftop communal space of any building in Adelaide, delivering owners access to a gym, sauna, spa, outdoor cinema, indoor and outdoor barbeque areas, and gardens. A restaurant, lobby and supermarket are also included within the building.

U2's developers, Datong, have also devised innovative ways to make the apartments flexible. For example, a study room can easily be converted to a bedroom by pulling out a built-in bed from the wall. Similarly, purchasers can buy U-MAX apartments, where two adjoining apartments can be purchased under one title. Owners can choose to live in one, and receive an income from the apartment next door, or open the secure connecting door to create a two-bedroom apartment.

The developer, Datong, is a well-established Chinese company. Since entering the Australian market in 2000, Datong has completed several projects in Adelaide. The architect, landscape architect, and interior designer is JPE Design Studio. U2 on Waymouth will be completed in 2017.
