Founded by Heidi Woodman, Heidi Woodman Property has officially launched in the Noosa Hinterland, offering a personalised, client-centred real estate experience. With 18 years in the industry and a passion for sales and a wealth of local knowledge, Heidi is excited to bring her unique expertise to the market.
Heidi’s love of real estate came naturally after working many years in the building industry, “I’ve always had a hand in sales, and my husband and I have a long history in the building industry. We’ve renovated and sold many houses, so real estate seemed like the logical next step. Real estate offers me the added bonus of working in a location I love, selling a product I love, and helping people navigate what is often one of the biggest decisions of their lives.”
Being no stranger to running her own business, Heidi honed her sales skills over her diverse career. She was a regional sales representative for many years, while also pursuing her artistic side by designing and creating ceramic sculptures, which Heidi marketed and sold all over Australia.
After relocating to Darwin, Heidi co-founded a plumbing business, overseeing job allocation and office operations, growing the business to a sizable entity before selling it and moving to Eumundi. These experiences shaped Heidi’s strong business acumen, which she later applied to the real estate industry, where she’s worked for nearly two decades.
Heidi's approach to real estate is built on calm professionalism and local knowledge. “It is very satisfying bringing all the parts together to create the ultimate sale and I’ve made some good friends along the way, many that have bought from me, then sold through me and bought again!”
While there can be many challenges as a real estate agent, Heidi prides herself on offering a steady hand and moderating emotions when necessary. “I’m selling what is often the most important asset my client owns and sometimes, if they’re downsizing, it’s their last chance to inject some extra funds into their future.
"As a consequence, I am often called upon to moderate when emotions run high. By the same token, buyers are often making a big decision to invest everything they own and then some, it can be a very stressful process. My job is to lend some calm and reason to navigate all that and help the two worlds meet,” she explained.
After years of working in agencies, Heidi was ready to take the next step—launching her own business to bring fresh initiatives and greater flexibility to her clients.
