Aurora Property has appointed high-performing agent Heath Dockary as Director of Sales of its Northern Districts agency as it embarks on its 2025 growth strategy.
Growing independent Aurora Property has appointed high-performing agent Heath Dockary as Director of Sales of its Northern Districts agency as it embarks on its 2025 growth strategy.
Mr Dockary, who has been behind $1.3bn in sales over a 26-year career in the Northern Districts, will lead Aurora Property’s sales expansion in the region, introducing talent to a growth model that enables agents to build-up their own successful business units.
The high-performer brought his own team to Aurora Property in 2024 as the brand unveiled its first Epping-based office. Mr Dockary had previously built a reputation as an exceptional marketer, negotiator and auction agent at Di Jones Real Estate and McGrath.
“It was the people who initially drew me to Aurora Property and I’m looking forward to nurturing those relationships while bringing new likeminded agents to the team who resonate with our unique culture and growth model,” Mr Dockary said.
“I admire Aurora’s client focus, service delivery and relentless pursuit of perfection. Everyone we deal with, from clients to service providers and trades, is guaranteed to have an experience that makes them want to work with us again and again, and our referrals are a testament to this mindset.”
Alongside introducing Aurora Property’s unique growth proposition to new talent, Mr Dockary will continue to lead his team and its ongoing success.
Mr Dockary’s appointment comes as the Northern Districts’ markets show resilience against interest rate and cost of living pressures.
More than 1000 properties exchanged across the region in the last quarter of 2024 which Aurora Property said was on par with the end of 2023.
Mr Dockary said buyers were coming back to the market in anticipation of the first interest rate cuts in nearly five years which bode well for the market in 2025.
“There is definitely room for expansion,” said Heath, “and part of my role will be to oversee our strategic vision for growth, with more offices likely to open in 2025. As a local resident deeply invested in community growth, I’m excited about the impact we can continue to have on our market.”
Aurora Property’s Northern Districts presence in Epping complements its other NSW operations at Cammeray and Neutral Bay, working cohesively to service more than 100 suburbs across Sydney and manage one of the city’s largest rent rolls. The Epping business, alone, manages more than 1500 properties.
Aurora Property also has a growing Queensland network which recently welcomed a Newmarket-based business (formerly Place Newmarket) to its team.
