Laing+Simmons has welcomed four new offices to the family in recent weeks, including at Kings Langley, Maroubra and Ingleburn in Sydney.
Rounding out a year of strong growth, award-winning boutique brand Laing+Simmons has welcomed four new offices to the family in recent weeks, including at Kings Langley, Maroubra and Ingleburn in Sydney.
The new Sydney offices join the brand’s new Point Cook office in Melbourne, which opened last month.
Laing+Simmons Head of People & Growth Jacqui Barnes says the company’s focus on working with local experts with values aligned to the brand has underpinned its growth in 2024 - and will again in 2025.
“We’re clear on our preference to build successful long-term businesses together with our network partners. We don’t want to be the biggest and we are not driven by numbers, we are entirely driven by working with the right people, and supporting them in the best way possible,” Ms Barnes says.
“This cultural point of difference is clearly resonating with our target market and is helping us grow as a network in the most sustainable and consistent way. It’s a privilege to welcome everyone in the new Kings Langley, Ingleburn, Maroubra and Point Cook offices to the Laing+Simmons family.”
Heading up the new Kings Langley office is Principal Mandeep Singh, who says new developments in surrounding areas are generating change at the local level.
“From the diverse range of beautiful freestanding homes to the emergence of new apartment developments in neighbouring suburbs, Kings Langley and its surrounds are primed to attract a range of people in the future, from singles and couple to young families, downsizers, investors and more. The future for the area is bright,” Mr Singh says.
“It creates a great opportunity to open under a strong brand which has captured the market in a unique way. The support provided by Laing+Simmons enables us to grow our business in the most effective way, with the systems and collateral to make a strong and immediate impact,” he says.
In Ingleburn, Abu Ratul is Principal of the new Laing+Simmons office. An experienced business person who has been involved in many enterprises, including extensive experience in franchising, he says the Laing+Simmons corporate culture is something he’s not encountered before.
“There’s an emphasis on care, connection and support with Laing+Simmons that makes for a refreshing and important difference to other brands focused purely on turnover and fees. It is the right brand at the right time for Ingleburn,” Mr Ratul says.
“This part of Sydney offers connectivity, relative affordability, and a diverse and welcoming multicultural community. The local area is in strong demand from first home buyers, upgraders looking for a larger home, families looking for more space, and more,” he adds.
Laing+Simmons Maroubra is a family business led by 35-year industry veteran Nick Panovski.
In his long and high profile career, Mr Panovski – who once sold the boyhood home of the Bee Gees in Maroubra – has plenty of experience in boutique, independent and large franchise real estate businesses. His decision to open under the Laing+Simmons banner was driven by people.
“Other brands are cold and dry,” Mr Panovski says.
“The way I want to operate our business is in a personal way. We put people first and it is clear that Laing+Simmons does too. It was a natural fit, in fact the only natural fit.
“Maroubra has always been unique and its real estate market is too. Among the eastern beaches, it’s a special place increasingly on the radar of buyers from all walks of life, looking for a quieter community environment than alternative beachside suburbs.
“Our new brand is the ideal way to connect with these people.”
