The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) has announced its board and office bearers for 2025, ushering in a new era of leadership to steer the property industry through the challenges and opportunities of the year ahead.
REIA President, Ms Leanne Pilkington, continues in her role, supported by Deputy President Ms Hannah Gill and FRAC Chair Mr Cain Cooke.
Ms Pilkington acknowledged the difficulties faced by the property sector and the nation over the past year, while expressing optimism about the future. “2024 was a challenging year for our industry and the broader community, but we’ve demonstrated remarkable resilience.
“As we step into 2025, I am excited to collaborate with this exceptional board to address ongoing challenges, seize emerging opportunities, and continue advocating for our industry and consumers alike,” she said
REIA also welcomed new Chief Executive Officer Mr Scott Rollason, whose extensive experience in industry associations and leadership will guide the organisation as it navigates key policy and industry developments.
Ms Pilkington said, “We are thrilled to have Scott on board. His fresh perspective and strategic vision will be invaluable as we look to the year ahead.
“With this renewed leadership, REIA remains committed to representing the interests of Australia’s real estate industry at the highest level and working towards a vibrant, sustainable property sector,” Ms Pilkington added.
