What was the inspiration for this offering?
Kay & Burton Concierge is an in-house service established to meet increasing demand from our clients to access professionals and trades for their property-related and lifestyle needs. One of those needs was peace of mind when it comes to our clients’ homes while travelling.
We know many Melburnians are planning to escape Melbourne this winter, so we wanted to ensure they knew our service can be extended to when they are travelling. For those who haven’t used Concierge before, whilst you’re enjoying the likes of Europe, Asia or even staying close by – it’s the perfect opportunity to see how Concierge can help take care of you and your property.

We work with the client to curate a bespoke service based on what they feel requires taking care of while travelling, including regularly collecting and storing mail, putting bins in and out, and performing general checks of the property several times a week. We ensure the property’s original state is maintained by tasks such as sweeping up leaves and tidying the gardens.
A wider range of services can also include entering the home to alter lights that are on, opening and closing of window furnishings so the home looks occupied and opening the property to trades and services, including a pet concierge providing in-home care.
Suppliers are on hand to arrange a thorough clean, window wash and garden tidy up. And we can even arrange to stock the fridge and have a fresh bunch of flowers delivered to ensure the blissful holiday feeling is maintained when arriving home.
We work with the client to curate a bespoke service based on what they feel requires taking care of while travelling, including regularly collecting and storing mail, putting bins in and out, and performing general checks of the property several times a week.
We ensure the property’s original state is maintained by tasks such as sweeping up leaves and tidying the gardens.
The base-level service starts from as little as $25 a day and includes a dedicated member of the team looking after the property who provides regular updates and is on call should anything arise.
