James Alexander, a senior banker with Macquarie Bank, has joined Pendium Advisory as an Associate Director to lead two specialist divisions.

James’ in-depth banking experience has been in the real estate and strata services sector, where he led client growth and acquisition for the bank in Western Australia and South Australia.

“James brings to Pendium Advisory a highly sought after, rare skill set and experience currently lacking in the sector” said Mark Sinclair, Managing Director of Pendium Advisory.

James’ appointment as Head of Advisory and Finance is a huge step forward that will be exceptionally beneficial for Pendium Advisory clients and the industry as a whole.

Mark said “we identified a high level of demand from business owners seeking assistance for structured succession planning over a one to three year period – not just a short term “cut and run” approach”. 

This area of business succession is lacking in the market, as acknowledged by all major franchise and marketing groups, banks, leading accountants and law firms who actively work in the sector. 

James’ highly developed knowledge of all areas associated with real estate agency financial management, accounting, banking requirements and corporate structures is second to none. Sharing this knowledge will provide a tailored approach to each client’s requirements.

Pendium Finance is the other business unit headed by James. Pendium Finance will provide bespoke brokerage services specifically for rent roll, strata roll and agency financing. The frequent requests from clients sourcing conventional or private funding have increased markedly since Covid, so it was a natural extension of Pendium’s services.
