Henry Wong, a dominant force in the Brisbane real estate for more than a decade, re-joined the RE/MAX network on April 19th after less than two years absence.
He joins the prominent Brisbane southside team at RE/MAX Revolution, a decision met with great excitement from business owners Eiles and Brittany Hunt.
“We are delighted to welcome Henry back to the network,” said Eiles Hunt. “He is a superstar in our industry and its wonderful to have him on our team on the back of a huge year of growth for our business.
“We all know Henry well from his accomplished career with RE/MAX; and returning means he is free to once again utilise his personal brand without limitations and focus on what is most important to him, which is listing and selling property and servicing his long-established client base,” Ms Hunt said.
Mr Wong said joining the RE/MAX Revolution team fits his strategic plan for business growth.
“My goal is to expand my business and market dominance and environment is the greatest contributor to a person’s success.
“Eiles and Brittany have created an environment where people are thriving. They promote professional development and colleagues helping each other. They are very systematic. Their business is growing and gaining a great deal of traction in their market.
“Succeeding in business is not about staying the same and this is an environment that gives me every opportunity to move forward,” he said.
Mr Wong began his residential real estate career with RE/MAX in 2012 and received a prestigious RE/MAX Titan Club award for his achievements in the 2018 calendar year. Long recognised as a leading performer in the Chinese real estate market, in 2019 he was named the top RE/MAX agent for this sector in Australia.
“I left at the end of 2019 and joined another brand but stayed in touch with RE/MAX,” he said, “and I see that RE/MAX works best for me because the model really promotes the agent. Personal branding is very important to me, including my web site and social handles. I receive more enquires through social media than through other means, and I have more than 12,000 followers on Facebook.
“RE/MAX not only allows me to build my business through personal branding, but it also assists agents to do this through resources, training and technology. With RE/MAX, I can express myself and learn from my colleagues as well.”
Having grown up in Wishart, Mr Wong’s reputation is immense through there and the surrounding suburbs he has called home.
“I am now very excited by the broader opportunities that await with RE/MAX,” he said.
Being part of a truly global network of more than 145,000 agents in more than 110 countries and territories, he can leverage cross-cultural connections to the benefit of sellers and buyers whether they be local, overseas and interstate buyers.
Joel Davoren, Managing Director of RE/MAX Australia, is excited to see Henry Wong back in RE/MAX colours.
“Whilst Henry left the RE/MAX group a couple of years ago, we parted ways on great terms and remained in contact in that time. We were sad to see him leave but ecstatic that he has chosen to come home.
“Henry has always been an extremely strong performer, authentic and down to earth; and he embodies much of what it means to be a RE/MAX agent.
“Joining Brittany and Eiles at RE/MAX Revolution is a fantastic choice for Henry,” said Mr Davoren. “They are young, dynamic business owners who have shown exceptional growth in recent years, which continues with Henry joining their team. We look forward to seeing the Henry Wong brand grow with this exciting partnership.”
