RE/MAX Experience welcomes Mike McCullough, an agent and auctioneer with 35 years of residential real estate experience.

“Mike’s role on our team will capitalise on his specialisation in large unit blocks, development sites and end product townhouses and units,” said Principal David Cotterill, “though he will be hands-on for all forms of residential sales in the inner-city market.”

Mr McCullough is a good fit for his team in Mr Cotterill’s view.

“Along with benefitting from his innate understanding of our market, we share a passion for development sales as well as valuing compliance and ethics very highly.”

Mike McCullough’s real estate career began as a sales agent in the family business in the Bundaberg and Wide Bay region, with the Professionals group. He has worked with other big real estate names and managed large sales teams over the years.

In 2005, he launched the first-ever in rooms auctions event conducted for Henzells Agency and the Sunshine Coast market. He eventually moved his real estate career to Brisbane, and nearer to family, before taking well-deserved leave from March 2020 to March 2022, which happened to coincide with the COVID landscape.

He says he is once again available to his real estate clients.

“This is a very exciting time for me. I’m undoubtedly a real estate addict. Also, having sold hundreds of properties under the hammer as a licensed auctioneer, I can’t wait to get back into calling my own auctions.”

Mr McCullough, who admits he is a ‘dot the i’s, cross the t’s’ person and a bit ‘old school’ will be based in the RE/MAX Experience office at Stones Corner, and mainly service inner south suburbs.

“I am excited to continue my real estate journey in this office, with this team. I chose this career path back in the 80s because I was passionate about helping local families achieve their dream of home ownership. That grew into helping developers achieve their end goal as I worked with many across Queensland, selling units, townhouses and developments.

“I thrive on the excitement of this ever changing, ever growing Australian property market,” he said.
