Is there a personal connection to RSPCA?
I have always loved the work of the RSPCA and growing up I always understood the importance and the respect that pets can bring. For me, my first dog as an adult is Georgie, my Little Santa's Helper, he is an amazing dog that is always there for me.
Have you had any prior experience with boxing?
I’ve only been to charity matches to watch. Now going through this experience myself I have been blown away by the dedication and commitment of what it means each and every time I step into the ring.
Source: Patrick McKinnonHow long have you been training?
I have been training for 8 weeks now.
Source: Patrick McKinnonWhere is it taking place?
The fight will take place on Saturday 25 September at 6.30pm at the Royal Convention Centre at Bowen Hills.
How can people best support? Can people go to watch?
Tickets to the event are sold out, but we are still fundraising for my sponsor dog, Popcorn. People can help by bring awareness and fundraising for Popcorn and other animals at the RSPCA.
