The Agency has welcomed multi-award winning and top performing agent Kyle Pitman to the rapidly growing Queensland team.
Kyle has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry across Australia and New Zealand. Formerly General Manager of Ray White New Zealand and most recently Head of Learning and Development Australia for the McGrath network, Kyle is not only a top sales agent but has a strong background in management and business ownership.
Running his own consultancy business for many years, Kyle is a highly effective performance coach and trained agents and business owners to drive growth and develop further business opportunities. He has trained agents from new starters to very experienced. Following many years establishing, growing and evolving real estate businesses, Kyle returned to sales, which he says is what he enjoys most about being in the industry.
“This business is 80 percent attitude and 20 per cent skill,” Kyle says.
“It relies on your ability to connect with people and be transparent throughout the transaction process. The most important thing is effective communication with your client and being dedicated to getting the best result for them, while being educated in the market.”
Kyle’s real estate career has been an upward trajectory since its inception. He was awarded ‘rookie of the year’ within his first 12 months in the industry in 1996, and went on to be a top performer in Brisbane. In the early 2000’s, Kyle worked with David Price - The Agency Queensland General Manager - as his top sales agent, and his career comes full circle as he joins David in the high performing team at The Agency Queensland.
Despite his accolades, Kyle is sought-out by his clients for his humility and desire to stay out of the limelight, counting high-profile and high net worth people as his clients.
Born and bred in Bulimba, the sought-after Brisbane suburb is also where the skilled sales agent and auctioneer began his real estate career. Over the past two decades, Kyle has seen the area attract young professionals, given its proximity to the city, while still retaining a community feel.
Kyle sells a range of properties, from waterfront prestige listings in the $10-$15 million price range, to $350,000 units to investors. Reflecting on the way the industry has adapted to the pandemic, Kyle says many of his buyers, including high net worth expats returning to Australia with their families, are looking for lifestyle homes in the area with enough space for separate home offices and large living spaces.
“Having worked across Australia and New Zealand for many years, I’ve formed international connections and networks with many agents and agencies, which have allowed me to facilitate the best deals for my clients.”
Kyle joins The Agency with his wife Katrina Pitman, who has been alongside him in his sales career and joins our team as Agent Support Partner.
At the end of the day, what grounds Kyle is his passion for sales and the relationships he builds.
“There is nothing like that feeling of seeing the look on your clients’ face when you sell their home for an amazing price. To me, success is earning the trust and respect of my clients by doing my absolute best for them.”
