The Agency’s National Head of Property Management, Maria Carlino has appointed Leanne Byrnes to take on the position of General Manager.
Two of Australia’s prominent women in property have joined forces as The Agency’s Property Management division positions itself for further expansion.
The Agency’s National Head of Property Management, Maria Carlino has appointed Leanne Byrnes to take on the position of General Manager.
Ms Carlino said The Agency has achieved major milestones over the past financial year, one of which was seeing several top performing partners joining the brand.
“The business is expanding its footprint across Australia, particularly in Brisbane and coinciding with this is the opening up of new opportunities for our property management division,” she said.
Ms Carlino said Leanne’s appointment will assist in creating a new model the business offering broader connection to investors while also supporting the sales division.
“Her roles follow a strong focus on partnering and bringing the best talent in the industry to The Agency.
“I first employed Leance when I was expanding McGrath corporate’s property management department back in 2009 so I am thrilled to be working with her again.
“In the first instance, not only does she hold similar values, her experience and knowledge will be extremely valuable to the growth of our business,” Ms Carlino said.
Ms Byrnes joins The Agency after several years with McGrath where she worked commenced as a property manager before being promotedafter several years to Performance Manager for the Network Property Management where she assisted the franchise offices across Australia.
Ms Byrnes said, “the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders was what attracted me to The Agency.
“The business is a high performing, forward thinking business with quality people, systems and processes.
“Being a part of their growth strategy as well as being able to work collaboratively with likeminded people is an exciting prospect as well.
“I am excited to be working alongside Maria again after first meeting her 12 years ago where we worked closely together.
“We share the same values and vision so it’s exciting to see what we can forge working together again,” she said.
Ms Carlino said Leanne will be providing support and guidance to the property management team as well as helping them to achieve their career objectives and goals.
“The Agency has a number of projects which are currently in progress so Leanne will be bringing her expertise, enthusiasm and knowledge to help deliver on these,” she said.
