Stone Real Estate has today announced the opening of a new office in Logan Queensland one of Australias fastest growing cities. The office is opened by local agent Jason Savage who will be supported by Chris Roy as director of sales and Tara Platell, as director of property management.
The office is opened by local agent Jason Savage, in what is a strategic move for Stone’s expansion strategy.
With a population of just shy of 350,000, Logan is located between Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, with easy access to the national highway and rail networks. The region has been long identified as a key market to complement the burgeoning growth of Stone Real Estate’s network.
Mr Savage said the Logan area is rife with opportunity for the real estate market, with about 1,000 people a week moving to Queensland from the southern states, as Australians re-evaluate their lifestyle choices in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, and as many people pivot to remote working.
“I’m looking forward to working with a great brand and with great leaders as we realise the opportunities of the Logan market, supported by Stone’s stellar technical infrastructure,” Mr Savage said of the new office opening.
“Now is a fantastic time for sellers in Logan, with first home buyers and young families looking to the region for its affordability.”
Stone’s Queensland head of franchise Scott Kelly said that having a presence in Logan will enable the company to further build out the advantage of its relationships nationally, benefiting clients and agents alike.
“We are excited to welcome our new Logan team into the fold of our emerging network in Queensland,” he said.
“Jason’s leadership and ambition to grow his already substantial business perfectly aligned with Stone’s philosophy and support platform to promote business growth.”
Mr Savage will be supported by Chris Roy as director of sales and Tara Platell, as director of property management.
“Chris Roy, director of sales and Tara Platell, director of property management round out a quality leadership team which will assist each individual within the business to reach their true potential,” Mr Kelly said.
