Mark Williams of Prospect Realty told WILLIAMS MEDIA "The model is very good for agents, and allows us to get done what we need to get done."
When he first set up his own real estate business, Surfers Paradis agent, Mark Williams thought a traditional franchise group would be the right choice for him. Mark felt the particular benefits his chosen franchise brand would be the best fit as most of sales are brand new, off the plan apartments.
After 9 months, Mark said it became clear that he would be much better off under a different type of business model and chose to join REAL Specialists.
Now in the process of creating his own brand and assembling and establishing a team under the Prospect Realty GC banner.
Mark said that since joining REAL he and his team have a strong following and have established a significant pipeline of future stock.
With its collaborative database Mark said that he is seeing great benefits from the REAL network, Prospect Realty GC has a much wider reach as he is able to market his off the plan listings to interstate investors who would otherwise not have seen any marketing.
WILLIAMS MEDIA spoke with Mark about REAL Specialists and the Gold Coast market.
What do you love most about the REAL model?
The model is very good for agents, and allows us to get done what we need to get done.
REAL takes all the back end away from me and I can focus on listing and selling for my business.
It really is such a great model.
What are your predictions about the 2021 market in your area?
It is looking really good for Prospect Realty GC, we have just listed off the plan apartments.
The market is not going to stop in 2021 and it will be a very busy 2022 as we won't be able to fulfil all the requests in 2021.
What are buyers currently saying about the market?
It is very difficult for buyers to purchase at the moment and some are becoming quite frustrated. Properties can have potentially up to 5 people fighting against each other, with very competitive offers and terms and conditions. I deal with a lot of interstate buyers; by the time they complete a walk through the property is sold.
What is the one thing you have learnt over your years as an agent?
There is such diversity in clients, not one type of person buys a property.
