"I rarely use materials that don’t have an intrinsic finish of texture and colour; materials like steel, glass, plywood and concrete, and so avoid using paint or painted finishes whenever possible. Extremely low maintenance."

"ProtoHouse V is the ultimate in this prototype design series. Building it for myself added a new dimension to the experience. The spaces are dramatic and warm and free-flowing and transparent. The interiors open and close to the the exterior at a whim. It’s like the house is at your command any time of day or night."

 Kate told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND Alexander is passionate about the area and a strong focus on sustainability.

“Here Alexander has married the two to make the most of the incredible site and proven that a contemporary design can sit perfectly within nature whilst being sustainable.  He has even gone to great lengths to clear the under growth of the rainforest surrounding the house garden, which creates a sense of being able to look deep within the forest and is almost like art in itself. It’s amazing!”

There are four bedrooms providing luxurious accommodations for family and friends alike.  Two bedrooms are complete with ensuites, while each has a cozy fireplace.

There’s also a newly renovated Japanese style studio which is separate to the main residence in its own unique and splendid setting with views.
