Infinity by Crown Group, which won the UDIA NSW Concept design award, goes on sale tomorrow.
Property developer Crown Group is betting big on demand for inner Sydney real estate and releasing all 326 apartments in its $575 million Infinity at Green Square Town Centre for sale tomorrow, rather than staggering the sales in stages. Apartments at the development, which was formerly an industrial area, start at $650,000.
The decision to make all of the apartments available in one day comes after an unexpected number of enquiries, with Crown Group Chief Executive Iwan Sunito saying demand has exceeded the firm's expectations. "Locals are embracing this exciting new area of Sydney," he said. More than 70 per cent of deposits received were from Australian citizens and residents.
The Green Square development area is 278 hectares and includes the suburbs of Beaconsfield and Zetland, and parts of Rosebery, Alexandria and Waterloo.
The Infinity development is located at 301-303 Botany Road, and has been designed by Koichi Takada Architects. Infinity was awarded the Urban Development Institute of Australia NSW Concept design award, and its design is unconventional; a unique looped shape with a void in its north-facing facade that will allow natural light to penetrate a central 1180-sqm open-air garden plaza and the apartment's balconies. Infinity will also house 75 luxury serviced apartments as well as retail outlets, restaurants and cafés.
Construction will be completed in 2019.
