Queensland Sotheby’s International agent Tyson Clarke recognised by Sotheby’s International President and CEO Philip White for outstanding achievement at New York City award ceremony.

A tremendous achievement for Brisbane residential real estate agent Tyson who entered the real estate industry just eight years ago having never previously sold a property.

“It was a huge surprise, when I received the invitation to attend the event in New York“ Tyson told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND. 

“My team and I are always so focused on looking forward working hard for our clients that we didn’t realise or track what we had accomplished together.”

Tyson said he never sets goals or targets for himself or the team, preferring to work as hard as they can and fit absolutely everything that they possibly can in the hours they have each day.

“Real estate is very much a team sport” Tyson said, “and while my name is on the award, without the unwavering support of the people around me it would not have been possible.”

Through consistent hard work, honesty and integrity the Tyson Clarke team has built a strong reputation as a trusted real estate team and service provider.

The awards dinner was hosted in New York City by Sotheby’s International President and CEO, Philip White at 3-Michelin Star restaurant ‘Per Se’ overlooking Central Park.

Meeting and networking with international peers was a memorable experience, Tyson said.

“To be among such a group of amazing agents around the world was an honour, the Top 100 out of over the 26,000 agents in Sothebys globally.”

“The most exciting thing is what these relationships and connections are going to mean for my clients here in Brisbane going forward.”

“Having the direct support of those 100 agents actively assisting to promote and share our amazing properties and city to their discerning clients around the world.”

Tyson said a lot of the people at the awards were very surprised to see an Aussie in the mix and it created a lot of fun interactions. 

They were even more stunned at the significance of Tyson’s achievement when he revealed Brisbane’s average property price in comparison to real estate world-wide including, USA, UK, France and Saudi Arabia.

“While many of the attendees knew of Brisbane, they had no geographical concept and asked how close it is to Sydney” 

“One thing that everyone did know though is that we will be hosting the Olympics in 2032 so the spotlight is definitely upon us and they are starting to talk about their wealthy clients around the world looking to invest here.”
