McGrath to expand its area dominance as Ward Partners join forces with McGrath Hunters Hill. The partnership will enable McGrath's Hunters Hill and Lane Cove offices to combine forces.
McGrath Estate Agents today announced that long-standing real estate agency Ward Partners has joined the McGrath Hunters Hill business.
Over a thirty-year period, Ward Partners has been one of Sydney’s most respected prestige and waterfront property specialists.
This alignment brings together Matthew Ward and Claire Ward and the high performing team led by Tracey Dixon, John Paranchi and Benjamin Mulae.
John McGrath, Managing Director and CEO of McGrath said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to have Matt and Claire joining our team."
"They are two of the most talented real estate professionals in Sydney."
"I knew their dad, David, who was a real estate icon, so it’s exciting to see Matt and Claire carry on their family's proud tradition of success and excellence within our brand."
Alongside Tracey Dixon, John Paranchi and their colleagues I believe this team is a standout in the region."
The new partnership will enable McGrath’s Hunters Hill and Lane Cove offices to combine forces with an increased sales focus on Drummoyne and the Inner West, while also boosting their property management division with an added rent-roll of 100.
McGrath Hunters Hill Principal Tracey Dixon said, “I have long experienced a fabulous working relationship with Ward Partners, so I am incredibly excited to announce the alliance of these two great brands."
“Combining our extensive local knowledge across our core suburbs and surrounds, provides an incredible opportunity to service both buyers and sellers across the entire Mid North Shore region.”
In their decision to consolidate under the McGrath brand, Matthew Ward says, “I have admired the growth and strength of McGrath over my 25-year career and have enjoyed a great synergy between my team and the McGrath Hunters Hill team."
"We see this as a great opportunity to add value to all our clients in providing the best service across the Mid North Shore catchments.”
Claire Ward adds, “Matthew and I were born and raised in Drummoyne and have a strong affinity for the area."
"Drummoyne and its surrounding areas provide enviable lifestyle opportunities with its centrality to the CBD, along with easy access to waterways."
"It offers a vast range of quality homes and apartments that we believe will gain traction in the market in the next few years.”
From the Hunters Hill office, John Paranchi and Ben Mulae will continue to focus on their core areas servicing Gladesville, Tennyson Point and Putney.
Market Commentary:
Ms Dixon said the local market is very active and prices are buoyant.
“Low listing levels are contributing to the strong prices we are achieving in the area. In the past week, we’ve transacted two properties over $10 million that also demonstrate the strength of the non-waterfront market, where out of area buyers are seeking luxury homes that offer a lifestyle component."
“These sales were: a 4 bed, 3 bath home at 8 Toocooya Rd, Hunters Hill, sold for over $11 million; and a 4 bed, 4 bath home at 1 Aspinall Place, Woolwich sold for over $10 million,” Ms Dixon concludes.
Other recent noteworthy sales in assorted price segments include:
- 5 bed, 2 bath home at 25 Hezlet Street, Chiswick for $12 million (Agent: Ward Partners)
- 3 bed, 1 bath at 45 Woolwich Road, Hunters Hill for $3.16 million (Agent: Ward Partners)
- 5 bed, 4 bath home at 22 Watson Street, Putney for $7.55 million (Agent: John Paranchi)
Co-Principal John Paranchi adds, “Our community involvement has always been important to us as we support schools, the arts, and local events."
"We believe this expansion will enable us to do more for the community as we extend our reach into adjoining markets.”
The Ward Partners team will work from the existing McGrath Hunters Hill office.
