How real estate is listed and sold is being revolutionised with the launch of global short-form video marketing app, Ten Sixty.
Founded by Melbourne developer, Matthew Snowden, the fun, free and social app is designed to make marketing real estate around the globe easier and more accessible than ever before.
Users of the application, which acts as a social network for the property industry, can film a video of a property and add music and other trimmings before posting it for free as a 60-second clip.
“Currently, there isn’t another global real estate platform. Ten Sixty is a destination where people can view property across the world and connect with agents,” Mr Snowden said.
Already, thousands of the world’s top agents are using the global app, along with numerous Australian brands — including Ray White, Raine & Horne, LJ Hooker, Belle Property, McGrath, Barry Plant, Kollosche and Century 21.
Having been billed as a new and innovative way of marketing, Ten Sixty allows its users to view properties for sale and for rent, as well as recently sold properties from global cities — including the likes of New York and London, as well as closer to home.
Listing properties on the app is free and buyers can “follow” their favourite agents.
Home buyers and renters can instantly find or search for properties and then chat with agents in real time about the property.
“This social network app allows agents, property managers and home lovers to foster real authentic connections and offers a new and fun medium to quickly showcase and move property,” Mr Snowden said.
People can search by price, agent name, location, hashtags or key words to find properties in your chosen area or nearby. Users won’t just see trending videos; they will see videos related to their recent searches and location.
“The world loves luxury listings and Ten Sixty provides the chance to view some of the most expensive and stunning properties globally,” Mr Snowden said.
Barry Plant, the founder of Barry Plant, has commended the app’s “new age” approach to real estate, detailing the opinion that Ten Sixty “will change the social way in which people look at houses”.
Noting that agents now can reach the market at a much faster rate than traditional methods, he highlighted how “a lot of people don’t even know they are in the market to buy”.
“Ten Sixty allows people across a broad spectrum to have an interest in property, ultimately expanding the property buyer pool,” Mr Plant said.
He added that “it will create a lot more access to international properties as well, because it’s not just for Australia, it’s the United States, it’s Europe and England”.
Sadhana Smiles, CEO of Real Estate Industry Partners, said the app’s transformative approach to real estate sales and marketing “creates a fun and engaging way to look at amazing houses”.
Ten Sixty currently has a competition for users to win a trip to Hawaii and a tour through the Rich Dad, Poor Dad author's luxury home in a “guess the price game” Link in contact form below.
