The Coronis Group has announced a key appointment to their Executive Leadership Team with Peta Siebert as their new Financial Services Director.
Formerly the State Manager for Lendi (Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia), Ms Siebert’s career in the financial industry spans more than three decades.
Coronis CEO Andrew Coronis said he first met Ms Siebert a year ago when she moved from Victoria to Queensland and had been immediately impressed by her intelligence, values and passion from the start.
“To have someone of Peta’s calibre join our team is a massive win for us,” Andrew said.
“Following an extensive interview process, I believe her understanding of digital lending, mortgage brokers and strategic thinking is second to none."
“What she has achieved at some of Australia’s leading companies including Lendi, Commonwealth Bank and Merrill Lynch plus her time at Barry Plant and Jellis Craig is certainly impressive and means she is well qualified to help grow our Mortgage & Finance division to the next level."
“We were really looking for someone who had worked in a property services business, had a solid understanding of digital lending platforms and shared our purpose of growing people and changing their lives for the better, and she has brought all those qualities to the table plus more." he continued.
“Our current team of brokers have settled over a billion dollars in lending since we started our Mortgage & Finance division in 2015 and with Peta’s experience, strategy and skillset, I am confident she will help us grow our finance arm to become 30% of our entire business, which is part of our five-year plan."
“I’ve always said anyone who is buying, renting or selling needs more than the traditional services, and with more than 500,000 people contacting us each year throughout Australia, our team has more opportunities than ever before to grow their business, and capitalize on our database.”
Peta Siebert said was drawn to Coronis because of their five-year plan and purpose to change lives for the better.
“To date, I have not come across another company in real estate or finance who have such an innovative or bold five-year plan, which I found refreshing about this opportunity,” Peta said.
“I was searching for a role that would really challenge me and Coronis was the right fit – in the past six years they have developed a strong base of brokers, systems and clients and I’m really looking forward to overlaying my experience and taking the business to the next level."
“I’m passionate about helping new to industry brokers, and brokers with a couple of years’ experience fine tune their skillsets, focus on the customer experience and help them create a successful and financially rewarding career."
“In my previous role, I was helping brokers increase their monthly lodgments by 600% so I’ll be refreshing the Coronis mentee program with my MFAA certified program ready for next month’s intake of mentees.”
