Over the next year, there will be a significant focus on REISA, its collaboration in the data and technology space, the services and tools it provides to members, the data-driven policy it advocates with government and its partnership opportunities both within the industry and externally through supply chain initiatives.
The Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) is the peak professional body representing more than 2,000 real estate professionals in South Australia.
Since its foundation in 1919, REISA has been the authority in the property industry, delivering valuable services to members and providing them with a united voice.
Following significant governance and structural change, with a new Chair, new Board and new Chief Executive Officer, REISA has developed a new strategic plan which significantly shifts the focus to deliver a strong member first organisation with innovation at the heart of its strategic direction.
“The changes in the governance structure and the majority independence of the Board, now allow us to approach the challenges we face with a fresh and balanced perspective. We knew that we had to embrace a new direction and take back our rightful place at the head of the table in real estate industry discussions. We needed a bold and innovative CEO to lead that charge,” said newly appointed REISA Chair, Fairlie Delbridge. Delbridge is a property expert, who is a Board member of Junction and the City of Adelaide’s New Economic Development Board.
“It’s no coincidence that we are hosting this event at Lot Fourteen, the home of innovation and collaboration. REISA’s exciting new chapter will be based on the platform of data, innovation and technology. We are pleased to announce the commencement of our collaboration with The University of Adelaide and The Australian Institute of Machine Learning, and - combined with the strength of our membership – we will deliver a strong voice to government and key stakeholders in media and across the spectrum of the property industry,” said Chief Executive Officer of REISA, Barry Money. Money was headhunted to fill the important role to lead the organisation - with significant experience in innovation across multiple industry sectors across the globe.
“We celebrate REISA’s strong alignment to the data and technology innovation happening in the State. It’s great to welcome REISA back to the table. With an evidence-based focus, we acknowledge that REISA will lead and represent credibly the real estate industry of South Australia,” said The Honourable Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia.
The relaunch was celebrated at a real estate industry function held at Lot Fourteen with The Honourable Premier Steven Marshall MP, other major influencers of the State and some of the largest real estate agents for South Australia.
Over the next year, there will be a significant focus on REISA, its collaboration in the data and technology space, the services and tools it provides to members, the data-driven policy it advocates with government and its partnership opportunities both within the industry and externally through supply chain initiatives.
