Off market sale makes its mark in Sydney's Pagewood, thanks to downsizers from a neighbouring suburb, said McGrath agents Adam Pierce and Ersin Esmek.
Records are made to be broken and this is what happened when the sale of 24 Macarthur Avenue, Pagewood was settled recently through McGrath agents Adam Pierce and Ersin Esmek.
The property is a four bedroom, three bathroom house with one car space standing on 610sqm of land.
The final price was in excess of the previous record of $3 million for a neighbouring property in 2018.

"We had a buyer from our database who was wanting to downsize from a neighbouring suburb.
"They loved the house and saw great value in Pagewood."
Mr Pierce said during the pandemic Pagewood has performed quite well.
"It’s had a bit of a run so far this year with 12 house sales and since mid-March, there have been four significant sales," said Mr Pierce.
"The trend for Pagewood is young families upsizing from Maroubra, Coogee, Randwick, Kingsford and Kensington.
"What you can get in Pagewood is significant compared to those suburbs.
"Some buyers are upsizing from semis and some from apartments.
"It’s close to beaches, Westfields Shopping Centre, golf links, the airport and CBD and presents great value.”
