The Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC 2020) will be deferred, said Nichola Byrne, General Manager, Total Real Estate Training.
Total Real Estate Training (TRET) has today advised that due to the risks associated with the Coronavirus pandemic, The Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC 2020), that was to have been held on the Gold Coast on Sunday 31st May and Monday June 1, will be deferred.
Nichola Byrne, General Manager of TRET, the organiser of AREC said it was a prudent action.
“In light of the World Health Organisation's advice for governments and businesses to heighten their containment efforts and our own Federal Government’s banning gatherings of more than 100 people indoors," said Ms Byrne.
“The rescheduling of AREC-2020 will be announced once it is clear that the virus is contained.
"We will continue to actively monitor developments around COVID-19, as the health of our delegates and our speakers are of the utmost concern.”
TRET confirmed that any tickets already purchased will be eligible for a 100 per cent refund or may be applied to the deferred event if preferred by any delegate.
The AREC conference, now in its 23rd year, attracts over 4,000 delegates from the real estate industry who come together to learn the latest trends from a world-class speaker line-up sourced from both internationally and within Australia.
Delegates with any questions should contact [email protected] or 1800335336.
