Rose Farina joins McGrath as its boosts its presence in Northbridge
McGrath Limited today announced that top prestige agent Rose Farina has joined them, as the company acquired her rent roll and business (currently operating as Ray White Northbridge), located in Sydney’s Northbridge region of the Lower North Shore.
CEO Geoff Lucas said attracting highly respected agents is a strong indicator of continued influence of the McGrath brand.
“Equally this expansion is consistent with our strategy to partner with high calibre well regarded agents with a significant community presence," said Mr Lucas.
“Northbridge is an important component of the Lower North Shore market and this acquisition is an excellent example of prime residential and aspirational family precincts that are part of a continued focus for McGrath and its prominence in this desirable region of Sydney.”
Mr Lucas said that McGrath Northbridge will focus on the key suburbs of Northbridge and Castlecrag and would supplement the new McGrath offices in Mosman, Willoughby and Castle Cove as well as the company’s well established Crows Nest operation.
“We are excited to welcome Rose to our sales division," said Mr Lucas.
"She is a true professional and together with her two children has been a resident of the area for 15 years.
"This has given her a valuable appreciation and understanding of the requirements of families wanting to live in the area.
"Her local knowledge and empathy will be a great asset to our team and our clients.”
Ms Farina has over 25 years experience in the real estate industry, beginning her career as an interior designer.
However she soon found her calling and first honed her negotiating skills with well respected agent Deborah Kerr.
Rose has worked in the local area for 10 years, and together with agents Denise Woo and Jeff Woo, will continue their customer centric approach to selling homes under McGrath.
Outstanding sales in the past twelve months include a record $12.6 million achieved for a 4 bedroom waterfront at 11 Minimbah Road, Northbridge; and more recently the 5 bedroom home at 13 Marana Road that sold after one week for $3,070,000; and an off market $4,535,000 for 3 Weetalibah Road, Northbridge.
McGrath’s presence in the Northbridge area is serviced by existing McGrath agents Alon Beran and Harriet Halmarick and the addition of Rose, Jeff and Denise will reinforce the company’s commitment to the area.
“The evolution of Northbridge over the past five years has been quite dramatic and it’s now more like a chic urban area of the Lower North Shore than the sleepy enclave that it was previously," said Ms Farina.
"It has developed a lovely café and restaurant culture on and around Sailors Bay Road, not to mention the parks and waterways close by.
"The larger blocks are very attractive to out of area buyers who are pleasantly surprised how close it is to the city.
"Not only are we seeing interest from Mosman and Neutral Bay residents, but also from the Eastern Suburbs.”
Ms Farina said she had always admired the McGrath brand.
"My team and I are thrilled to be part of a company that provides such great support for its agents," said Ms Farina.
"As a major sector of my market are premium properties, McGrath’s presentation and marketing continues to have an edge that resonates with my own approach to deliver the best results for my clients.
“I get enormous satisfaction when I can deliver an outcome that exceeds my clients expectation while at the same time leaving them with a memorable experience.”
McGrath Northbridge will be located at 2/155 Sailors Bay Rd, Northbridge.
