Craig and Sharon Ireson join the company to expand its presence in Lower North Shore – considered one of the most desirable precincts in Australia.
McGrath has announced that top real estate professionals Craig and Sharon Ireson will join McGrath after it acquired their rent roll currently operating as Ireson First National.
The couple will be located in Sydney’s Castle Cove region of the North Shore.
Craig Ireson’s extensive industry experience and reputation exceeds four decades, most recently as Principal of Ireson First National, Castle Cove for the past six years.
Before that, he had a substantial career in property development financing in residential, commercial and industrial projects.
At a glance:
During the past six months, the Iresons have managed substantial sales including 9 Willis Road, Castle Cove ($4.1 million), 140 Deepwater Road, Castle Cove ($2.975 million), 95 Neerim Road, Castle Cove ($3.8 million) and 91 Babbage Road, Roseville Chase ($2.95 million).
McGrath CEO Geoff Lucas said that welcoming Craig and Sharon Ireson was another important move for the company.
He said McGrath’s regarded the Lower North Shore region of Sydney as one of the most desirable and sought-after property precincts in the country, with considerable upside into the future.
“We are thrilled to welcome such outstanding agents as Craig and Sharon into our sales division with a deep understanding of the dynamics driving that market,” Lucas said.
“They are well entrenched in their local community having lived there for 22 years, highly regarded and dedicated and are representative of the style of high-quality partners with which we align both our business and client offering.”
McGrath Castle Cove will focus on the key suburbs of Castle Cove, Roseville Chase, Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Roseville.
Commenting on the local market, Mr Ireson said he believed the area’s house prices will continue to climb as more buyers see the potential and value that these suburbs have to offer.
“With lots of space, generally good-sized homes and very little traffic congestion, Castle Cove, Roseville Chase and Middle Cove are hidden gems,” he said.
“I’m seeing demand from families who want to upgrade yet be close to the CBD and in close proximity to Middle Harbour, often with great views and diversity in topography.
“Unlike many nearby suburbs, Roseville Chase, Middle Cove and Castle Cove remain devoid of large apartment style living and continue to attract multi-generational living.
“This leafy part of Sydney’s North Shore is attracting an affluent younger demographic, drawn to nearby schools, golf courses and other sporting facilities.”
Mr Lucas said that McGrath Castle Cove would augment the new offices in Mosman, Neutral Bay and Willoughby as well as McGrath Crows Nest.
