McGrath Estate Agents has continued its recruitment drive, announcing the appointment of Nicole Carter to the Surfers Paradise branch.
McGrath Estate Agents has bolstered its Surfers Paradise branch, recruiting prominent Reedy Creek agent Nicole Carter.
Having previously established RE/MAX in Robina, Ms Carter's career achievements include ranking in the Top 30 of RE/MAX agents and being inducted into the agency's International Hall of Fame.
Ms Carter said she was attracted to McGrath as its business values aligned closely with her own.
"It was time for a change," she said.
"I wanted to further grow my career and the opportunity to be associated with a premium brand such as McGrath is very exciting not only to me, but I feel will be advantageous to my client base as well.”
In 2017, Ms Carter achieved one of the highest sales price for a home for the area - $1.66 million for 28 Culgoora Crescent, Reedy Creek, while her sales this year have included 8 Horizon Place, Reedy Creek for $1,050,000; 6 Parkes Court for $855,000; and 14 Culgoora Crescent for $845,000.
She said the hottest price point for the area in the current market was in the range of $800,000 to $1 million.
“Since the election, we are seeing renewed interest and buyer activity," she said.
"For the first time in six months, they appear to be making a decision to purchase, whereas prior to that they were sitting on their hands.
“Families and young couples with children are definitely the most active in the Reedy Creek area as they are attracted to being in close proximity to school zones, as well as the newness of the homes on offer such as those available in The Observatory at Reedy Creek."
Speaking on the appointment, McGrath Queensland State Manager Justin Marsden said Ms Carter had "successfully immersed herself in her local area where she is an incredibly active resident but also is highly regarded in the wider community".
"Nicole has an outstanding track record for sales on the Gold Coast, especially in Reedy Creek and the surrounding areas," he said.
"She will be a great asset to the team servicing the area from Paradise Point/Broadwater, the Central Gold Coast and out to the hinterland."
