The Real Estate Institute of Australia has announced the finalists of its 2019 National Awards for Excellence, which will be held by the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) in Perth this year.
REIA President Adrian Kelly said the Awards recognise the best performers across all aspects of real estate, including residential and commercial agencies, sales, property management, business brokers, buyer's agents, community service, innovation and communication.
“The Annual Awards are an industry highlight acknowledging the hard work and effort by individuals and agencies in achieving the best results for their clients," Mr Kelly said.
"They encourage, promote and showcase excellence and best practice in the real estate profession."
This year, the REIA National Awards for Excellence will be hosted by the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA).
REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi says it's an honour to be hosting this year.
"It’s been four years since we last hosted the event and in that time Perth has undergone quite the transformation, with new developments and entertainment precincts popping up all over the city. It’s an honour to be able to showcase our great state and city to the rest of the country," Mr Pozzi told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
Mr Pozzi said the awards raise the bar for the standard of excellence expected.
"These awards also serve as excellent motivation for the industry at large, helping to encourage all real estate professionals to strive to be the best they can be so we can continue to provide a high level of service to the Australian public," he told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
Mr Kelly says you don't have to achieve the most sales or the highest sale prices to be an industry leader.
"These awards recognise many fields of expertise and any individual (or firm) from any part of the country can be judged equally against each other. All of the entries are judged by experienced property professionals from across the country," Mr Kelly told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
He said being recognised as a winner is the "ultimate accolade".
"The value of being recognised as a national winner is immeasurable," he told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
The Real Estate Institute of Australia’s National Awards for Excellence will be held at Crown Perth on Thursday 21 March 2019.
