More properties are selling in seven Perth suburbs - with Alkimos, Golden Bay and Trigg at the top of this list - than were sold during the 2014 peak of Perth's property boom.
Alkimos, Golden Bay and Trigg have topped the REIWA's list of seven Perth suburbs where more properties are selling now than during the city's 2014 peak-boom times.
"Land sales are doing very well in Alkimos," Aaron Potter, agent with Space Real Estate Cottesloe told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
"They're very well priced and being subsidised by the government. It's a great position by the beach."
Potter said Alkimos has been very popular with subsidised first-home buyers, and builders are offering attractive packages for new homes too.

REIWA President Hayden Groves said overall house sales volumes remain lower in Perth than they were in 2014, but seven suburbs have bucked the trend.
“For some of the relatively newer suburbs on this list, population growth has played a role in their sales volumes improving.
"However, interestingly, the majority of the suburbs on the list are well-established, affluent suburbs like Trigg, Salter Point, Leederville and Ardross," he said.
These suburbs "have defied market conditions to maintain sales levels that are on par or notably higher than the levels they recorded during the boom," Groves said.
Trigg has not only recorded an increased volume of sales, the suburb's median house price has risen 6.5 per cent from $1.08 million to $1.15 million between 2014 and 2018.
“The median house price in Salter Point and Leederville also held up well during this time, remaining more or less unchanged," Groves said.
“With key market indicators signalling the Perth market has turned a corner, it will be interesting to see if this list grows over the next 12 months.”
