The Real Estate Conversation, in partnership with the REIA and participating state and national Real Estate Institutes, has launched RECON Jobs, a recruitment website specifically tailored to the real estate industry.
Our readers may have noticed something different about The Real Estate Conversation website lately: the appearance of banners for our new jobs website, RECON Jobs.
What is RECON Jobs?
RECON Jobs is a recruitment website, tailored specifically for the real estate industry. It has been produced in partnership with the Real Estate Institute of Australia and participating State and Territory Real Estate Insitutes, and is part of The Real Estate Conversation family of sites.
Why use RECON Jobs?
The site will provide a direct link between the real estate industry, who are looking for top staff, and those already working in the industry, who have highly desireable skills and experience.
The site's reach will be nation-wide, and under the well-recognised Recon brand.
Designed by the industry, for the industry
Malcolm Gunning, president REIA, said, "Recon is read by many in the industry, and is a strong industry voice.
"RECON Jobs will mean people can look for jobs without going through a recruitment agency, and can peruse the opportunities and make enquiries," he said.

Leanne Pilkington, president of REINSW, said "Finding good people is one of the biggest pain points for businesses.
"To have a site specifically targeted for the real estate industry is a great tool," she said.
"Dip into the national jobs market"
Hayden Groves, president of the REIWA, said RECON Jobs will allow readers to dip into the national jobs market via a national jobs board.
"It plugs a gap in the real estate recruitment market," he said.
Accessing the "passive" jobs market
Sharon Bennie from Specialist Property Recruitment, said RECON Jobs is a great tool for the passive jobs market.
"It's exciting to have a specific industry jobs board that people can explore," she said.
