The shortlist for the World Architecture Festival has been revealed, and 25 Australian architects have made the cut.
Twenty-five Australian architects have had projects shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival, with winners to be announced at a three-day event in Berlin from 15 November 2017.
Forty-five projects in total have made the cut, as several of Australia's major architectural practices have had multiple projects listed: SJB has six projects shortlisted, FJMT Studio, BVN, and Cox Architecture each have four.
The total shortlist contains 497 projects from around the world, an 18 per cent increase on the number from last year.
At the World Architecture Festival, which will be held on 15-17 November in Berlin, each architect will present their shortlisted projects to a panel of eminent architects who will make the final judgment.
