Houzz has announced the community’s picks for Best Of Houzz 2017 in Australia.

From roofing professionals and architects, to painters and interior designers, the list is a homeowner-to-homeowner guide to the best all around the country.

“We are so pleased to award Best of Houzz 2017 to this incredible group of talented and customer- focused professionals,” said Jason Chuck, Managing Director for Houzz Asia-Pacific.

The Best Of Houzz is awarded each year in three categories: Design, Service and Photography. A “Best Of Houzz 2017” badge will appear on winners’ profiles.

Chuck told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS Houzz plays an important role in real estate in Australia.

"As many homeowners often look to renovate or redesign their homes either shortly before selling or shortly after buying a home, Houzz plays an important role in Australian real estate," he said. 

"Houzz is the easiest way for people to find inspiration, get advice, source products and hire the professionals they need to help turn their ideas into reality," he explained.

With escalating costs associated with moving home, the number of Australians opting to renovate rather than sell and buy, is growing.
 
According to the recent 2016 Houzz and Home Report, almost half of Australian homeowners opted to take on a renovation instead of buying a new home, said Chuck.

Best of Houzz awards will be announced around the world in the coming weeks.
