Hotel Palisade occupies an elevated position in revitalised Millers Point and has panoramic views of Sydney Harbour. "We think it's the best property in Sydney," said marketing agent John Musca, of Jones Lang LaSalle.
Hotel Palisade in Millers Point is for sale through John Musca and Peter Harper of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group.
On an elevated site in revitalised Millers Point and with never-to-be-built-out views over Sydney Harbour, Barangaroo, the skyline and Walsh Bay, Musca put it simply. "It's one of the best properties in Sydney," he said.
"It has the most amazing 360-degree views I've ever seen," said Musca.
Musca also told SchwartzWilliams the hotel is "a highly profitable business in its own right."
The hotel has only been opened for 10 months after a comprehensive $5 million renovation, and is now a landmark destination.
"We think having a cocktail there will be on people's bucket list," said Musca, adding that Luxury Escapes has voted it one of the best rooftop bars in the world.
The building retains its heritage features on the ground floor, but has had a contemporary makeover with a clean modern aesthetic throughout.
The hotel is expected to fetch in the low $30 millions, said Musca. "There'll never be another opportunity to buy a property like it," he said.
Hotel Palisade is offered For Sale by Expressions of Interest closing 4.00pm (AEDT), Wednesday, 30 November 2016.
