'Unreal Estate' will be aired on Channel Nine starting tonight, and 'I Own Australia's Best Home' begins tomorrow on Foxtel.
In a sign that Australians love nothing more than taking a look inside beautiful homes, two new television series about luxury property will go to air this week.
Kate Langbroek and Cam Knight will host 'Unreal Estate', which begins on Channel Nine at 8.40pm tonight. The hosts will visit some of Australia's most extravagant homes, including country estates, beach houses, and grand mansions.
“I really didn’t think I could live in any of those houses but I could have a hell of a holiday… in nearly all of them,” Langbroek told Domain.
The other series starting this week is Foxtel's 'I Own Australia's Best House'. The ten-part series follows designers Gillian Khaw and Tim Leveson, and architect Nick Tobias as they visit stunning homes, meet the owners, and spend 24 hours at the property.
“When I first found out we were going to stay in the homes, I thought it was a bit strange,” said Leveson, but “in order to critique a space, you need to be in the space for 24 hours because you really then begin to understand how it works for the people who made it."
Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite house, and in the final episode a secret panel of judges will determine Australia's best home. 'I Own Australia's Best House' will be aired on LifeStyle Home from 8.30pm Wednesday.
