The house that served as Harry Potter's home in the hit movie adaptations of JK Rowling's famous novels is for sale.
The suburban house that featured as Harry Potter's home in 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' is on the market.
Fans will recognise the Tudor-style Four Pivet Drive (which in reality is at 12 Picket Post Close, Bracknell), the home of Potter's aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. Harry was forced to live with his unpopular relatives after his parents died.
The closet under the stairs, where Harry was forced to sleep in the novels, was actuallly constructed on a set, so is not part of the home.
Bracknell is about 30 miles west of London. The home is said to be valued at around $800,000.
The whole street was recreated for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1', due to logistical problems of filming on location.
