With a long history of involvement with The Real Estate Institute of Victoria, Geoff White is well positioned to take on the role of President yet again.

White was previously REIV President in 2003-04. He has been a Director of the REIV for many years, including from 1999–2007 and 2014- 2015, and has served on numerous REIV committees and as Chairman of the Auction Chapter Committee.  

A fifth generation estate agent, White commenced his career in real estate in 1984 and has since managed and sold residential, commercial and industrial property, as well as owned and operated his own real estate offices and served as CEO of a growing franchise group. White is currently Commercial Manager and Branch Manager for Lucas Real Estate's Yarra Edge office.

He said that he is privileged to again serve REIV members as their President for 2015-16. "The REIV Board is united in its focus to improve our real estate profession and follow the good work of the previous Board," White said. 

Joseph Walton and Frank Hellier were also elected as new office bearers (senior vice president and vice president, respectively) for the 2015-16 year.  

REIV also has two new directors who recently joined the board, Richard Simpson and Cameron Way.
