An Australian company, Thermofilm Australia, is helping to keep visitors to one of the world’s most famous and iconic landmarks in Paris warm and comfortable during the European winter. The historic Eiffel Tower will now warm staff and visitors during the cooler months thanks to the installation of Thermofilm’s Australian designed and manufactured ceiling-mounted heating panels. The HEATSTRIP classic radiant heaters have been installed in the waiting and final security checkpoint areas. Silent in operation, the heating panels blend in unobtrusively with their surroundings and provide gentle, constant, energy-efficient heat. In order to warm a challenging historical site, Thermofilm Australia had to design a heating system that was inaccessible to the public, incorporated lights and insect repellent devices and was able to support 12+ hours of operation each day.
