Bronte Manuel from Toop&Toop wins auctioneering competition.
Bronte Manuel from Toop&Toop in Adelaide has been named the top auctioneer in South Australia. Manuel took out the first ever Auctioneering Championship conducted by the Real Estate Institute of South Australia, and will now go on to represent his state at the Australasian Championships in September.
“REISA is taking the lead with auctioneering in South Australia and the aim of our competition is to get our local auctioneers as ready as possible before taking on the other states and the incredibly strong Kiwis in the Australasians," said Greg Troughton, CEO of REISA. "All the contestants performed well and demonstrated the depth of auctioneering talent that exists in this state."
Independent auctioneer AJ Colman finished in second place, and he will join Manuel at the regional championships later this year. The competition was judged by a panel of five interstate judges under the guidance of chief judge Jonathon Moore and Floor Manager Damian Popowycz.
Manuel has won a fully-paid trip to Hawaii.
