David McMillan

David McMillan is Director of Performance Property Advisory. During his 16 years in the property industry David has worked as a property valuer and property adviser to private clients, financial planners, accountant, finance broker’s, major banks and governments. His firm Performance Property Advisory has grown from 2 to 20 in less than three years by combining his real estate experience with proprietary software that models Australia’s property market monthly to predict high-growth areas across the country. McMillan and his team of number crunchers use their data to purchase quality establish property for local high-income investors such as doctors, business owners, ex-pats and farmers. He is an associate of the Australian Property Institute and the Real Estate Institute. He currently sits on the board of Property Investment Professionals of Australia to promote ethics in the property investment industry.

It is impossible to tell whether or not there has been additional foreign investment into established property illegally, but what we do know is that $61 billion worth of foreign housing sales was approved by FIRB in the 2015 financial year - and, not only is that number unprecedented, it’s more than triple the foreign investments in domestic housing in the three years prior.
