The creation of 20,000 additional jobs and 15,000 new homes over the next 21 years is a win for everyone.
The strategy to renew areas in Sydney’s south west is a step in the right direction, according to the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales.
Planning Minister Rob Stokes released the strategy for the seven station precincts from Glenfield to Macarthur and asked for feedback on plans to revitalise the area, on July 26.
The Glenfield to Macarthur draft corridor strategy would be a great boost to the area. There is a real opportunity for the development of affordable housing, services and amenities around transport hubs and close to employment areas.
We are excited the government has created a vision for this important part of Sydney. The creation of 20,000 additional jobs and 15,000 new homes over the next 21 years is a win for everyone.
It is important that the planning of our great city has a holistic approach and this is clearly seen in the plans to revitalise the station precincts.
