The McGrath Northbridge team has had a phenomenal September selling 10 properties with a total value of $36.6 million.
McGrath Northbridge agent, Rose Farina told WILLIAMS MEDIA, "We’re finding the importance of having a house in which to be able to work from is far more important than ever before. Life has changed as we know it. Homes with a beautiful aspect, great light and flow are what everyone wants. People are having staycations instead of travelling overseas so they’re upgrading their homes to get that lifestyle."
Ms Farina described how the buying criteria has changed, "It’s about how buyers can imagine themselves living in the home rather than seeing it just an investment. Waterfronts with beautiful outlooks are in high demand because people are spending so much extra time in their homes.”

At the time, no-one was interested in waterfront blocks because they were too far away from the tramline. They undertook substantial renovations and additions.
This block, Number 67, is considered to have the best aspect on Minimbah Road.
Sailing was the central activity of the Ewen family who were members of Northbridge Sailing Club. They sailed Olympic-class Solings, Etchells and Blue Birds after starting off on Flying Ants at Northbridge and Manly Juniors.
Ron and Val kept a 45-foot Swan in the Mediterranean for 25 years while their son Philip Ewen sailed from Sydney to Mauritius on a 1936 yacht.
Ron Ewen and his brother built their first racing yacht, a Blue Bird, on the slipway of 67 Minimbah Road.
