Philip Talbot discusses joining The Agency Coffs Harbour, and what he will bring to the company.
Philip Talbot has joined The Agency Coffs Harbour with an impressive nine listings, and a significant pipeline over the coming weeks.
In the last two years, Mr Talbot has sold more $1 million plus properties than any other agent in the area, holds the record for the highest off-market sale at $1.8 million and also holds the sales record at $2 million for the Northern Beaches.
He has an impressive history for only being in the real estate industry for three years, no doubt aided by 30 years in advertising.
Mr Talbot told WILLIAMS MEDIA “during my time in advertising my wife and I built, renovated and sold over 30 properties”.
“I have had good experience with a lot of agents. The opportunity then presented itself to get involved in real estate and I took it.”
“I see my new role at The Agency as a facilitator. A lot of agents are there to get a signature on a sales or listing contract, but I try and approach every transaction so the customer comes out as the winner.
“I work with people to come up with solutions, even if I need to call in builders, painters, engineers, etc.
“The Agency’s management attitude is one of yes or yes, not one of yes or no.”

Mr Talbot said he had been at another agency for two years but found it wasn’t fluid, whereas The Agency “is focused on delivering what agents need”.

Given Sydney’s property price super cycle from 2012 to 2017, the migration to regional areas has significantly increased with people attracted to the affordability and lifestyle offered by areas like the Hunter Valley, Southern Highlands, Wollongong and Coffs Harbour.
For this reason, The Agency has focused on attracting the top talent in these areas.

“These regional areas offer exceptional value and we are honoured to attract the top agents locally. Philip Talbot is case in point, his wide array of experience and exceptional energy continue to deliver a standout level of service to the Coffs Coast market,” Thomas McGlynn, National Director of Sales, said.
Philip Talbot and his property partner Alexis Warncken, embrace a unique approach in the Coffs Coast market.
These strategies include actively using off-market campaigns; verifying every interested buyer and providing vendors with detailed OFI reports; thorough market and competitive analysis provided to vendors; and the provision of informed style and renovation advice when required.
