A two-lot acreage within Dallas's exclusive Highland Park is for sale, with Aussie firm Goldeneye Media spearheading the sales campaign.
Highland Park, in Dallas, Texas, is a heavily wooded, gated estate close to the heart of the city, yet with the ambience of a country estate.
Considered one of the most beautiful and exclusive residential communities in the world, Highland Park is known for its elevated position, lush green scenery, and engaged community.
The site for sale covers two blocks, each one more than an acre in size. The site can be purchased as a whole for $32 million, or separately for $16 million each.
"This gorgeous, heavily treed acreage is considered Dallas royalty," says Juli Harrison, agent for the property, and executive vice president of Allie Beth Allman Real Estate.
A "ritzy" film by Australian firm Goldeneye Media is spearheading the sales campaign, Tracey Atkins, managing director of Goldeneye told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS.
The film features interviews with leading Dallas architects and developers, as well as with the famous former mayor, William D. White Jnr who describes the land as “the most beautiful part of north Texas that I’ve seen”.
"I can't think of a more desirable location," says White Jnr.
"The feeling of closeness within the community and the acceptance of the community would be, to me, the main selling point," said White.
"The school district is the thing that everyone in the park cities is the proudest of because it's just an absolutely outstanding school system," he said, adding simply, "People like to live here."
The opportunity exists for the new owners to create their own dream home. "It's a blank canvass. With the right architecture [the site] could support anything," says Mark Danuser, builder, in the Goldeneye film.
Highland Park is considered one of the wealthiest suburbs in America, and its residents include billionaires (including next-door-neighbour Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones), private clubs, luxury brand stores, and one of the country’s most sought-after school districts.
The estate has a fictional history to complement its real life blue-blood status. Highland Park was featured in the popular 80s TV series 'Dallas', and first lady Claire Underwood of 'House Of Cards' lived in a mansion in the estate.
