Nikki Gogan has returned to work as a real estate agent in Northam, now that the final episode of The Bachelor has gone to air.
Nikki Gogan broke Australia's collective hearts last week when she was dumped on national television by The Bachelor's Richie Strahan.
Even if you didn't watch the show, it's not hard to understand how it would feel to be told you weren't the one in front of nearly two millions viewers.
Gogan has done her best to be philosophical. “You saw me fall head over heels and I was that, but I need to remember I’m not the first and I won’t be the last person to fall in love with someone who won’t love me back,” she told The Daily Telegraph.
Now Gogan is back at work as a real estate agent with First National Real Estate Hollett & Lawrence, where she has worked for the last decade.
She is studying for her Diploma in Real Estate to further her career, and eventually hopes to become a licensee.
"I know how lucky I am to love my job as much as I do," says Nikki on the First National Northam website. "Its a thrill matching buyers to their dream home."
Gogan has lived most of her life in Northam, which has a population of nearly 7,000.
"If I'm not in the office, you'll find me walking my dog Pippa along the Avon River or spending time with my family, friends and cat Penny," she says.
Gogan has used her new profile to help raise funds for local causes, including helping to raise funds for the child of local friends.
