The Australian Institute of Architects is inviting members of the public to vote for their favourite house in the 2015 National Architecture Awards.
The AIA has announced the shortlist for the 2015 National Architecture Awards, and is inviting members of the public to vote for their favourite.
The People’s Choice Award is in its second year, following its debut in 2014, when over 4,000 members of the public had their say.
The nominations are:
Balmoral House – Clinton Murray + Polly Harbison (NSW)
Bethanga House – tUG workshop (Vic)
Light House – Peter Stutchbury Architecture (NSW)
Local House – MAKE Architecture (Vic)
Orama – Smart Design Studio (NSW)
Planchonella House – Jesse Bennett Architect Builder (Qld)
Sawmill House – Archier (Vic)
The Edge – Charles Wright Architect (Qld)
Tower House – Andrew Maynard Architects (Vic)
Villa Marittima, St Andrews Beach – Robin Williams Architect (Vic)
Walter Street Terrace – David Boyle Architect (NSW)
Voters have until 5pm on Wednesday 28 October to vote, and the winner will be revealed on Friday 30 October.
Voters can also explain why they voted for a particular house, and have the chance to win a prize.
The National Award winners, as selected by the National Jury, will be revealed at a special ceremony in Brisbane on Thursday 5 November.
