Westpac research reveals more homeowners are planning to sell a property
Westpac research released today has found more Australians are thinking about selling their home with four in ten (39%) homeowners planning to list in the next five years, an increase of 9 percentage points since November 2020.

The Perth rental market is significantly more affordable than it used to be, with reiwa.com analysis showing 235 suburbs had median house rents below their peak prices in May 2021.

The REINSW Vacancy Rate Survey results for May 2021 signals some signs of recovery for a market hit hardest by international border closures, with fewer empty properties since the start of lockdown last year.
“Australia’s annual population growth has fallen to its slowest rate since 1916 with the sharpest decline occurring in Victoria,” stated Tim Reardon, HIA’s Chief Economist.
