Peter Downes told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS, "My role in this project mostly consisted of translating the client’s bold and innovative ideas into buildable and approvable drawings, so the bulk of the credit for the design goes to them."

The entrance is worthy of a home of this stature. A lift enables ease of access to each of the three internal floors, while a separate inclinator with four stations provides easy access to the pool terrace and boathouse. 

Incredible waterfront facilities include a glorious 10m x 6m pool, sandstone terrace, Grecian undercover BBQ entertainment area and the only two-storey boathouse in Palm Beach.  The boat pen accommodates at least a 10m boat. A deepwater jetty and floating pontoon draws approximately 3m at low tide and has current rights to a mooring.

In case of inclement weather, there is an opulent underground stone & timber entertainment terrace, reminiscent almost of a Viking banquet room. This is ideal for occasions when the party needs to "move indoors", or when the children and teens need a separate space.

The hotel theme is particularly evident in the bedroom accommodation, which is pure romance. Each of the 6 bedrooms in the house is luxurious with either walk-in or built-in robes, and en-suite bathroom with egg shell bath, over-sized shower and single or double vanities.

The childrens' retreat contains a ship-inspired living area with port-hole windows, soaring ceilings and curved walls adjoining a magnificent children's bedroom with custom-built four-poster king bed and open loft with mezzanine sleeping accommodation.

Peter Robinson of LJ Hooker Palm Beach told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS, "The property is incredibly unique for a few reasons – it is one of the largest blocks and has the one widest frontages of any waterfront property on Pittwater. The boathouse is the only two story boathouse we know of on Pittwater and the facilities on the waterfront, including pool, slipway, boat pen and jetty are incredible."
